END OF SUMMER MIXED GRILL @ KYC
As we begin the transition from our peak season to the quieter months, we want to mark the end of what's been a truly special summer. And what better way to celebrate than by firing up the grills one final time, with a bit of extra style...
This time, we're pulling out all the stops. KYC will be providing some high-end proteins for us all to pig out on this Thursday. Think shrimp skewers, sausages, charcoal chicken and shish kebabs, plated up with a classic green salad, slaw and some baked potatoes. All the elements of your classic showstopper September BBQ. And that's not all...we'll also have a limited amount of Brazilian-style BBQ beef prepared by our crack team of grillmasters, Charles Leman and Plinio Prado. Now THAT'S a winning combo.
Our full mixed grill meals will be priced at $25 per plate, including your dessert afterwards. Veggie alternatives will be provided, and these plates will be priced at $15.
This Mixed Grill fest will take place on Thursday September 8th on our deck. The bar will be open from 6:30pm, with food being served from around 8pm when sailors return from their races.
The KYC Clubhouse and Deck is our venue for this week. Members, competitors and guests of members are encouraged to join, with a maximum of 10 guests allowed to join per member. Members are responsible for their guests. No outside alcohol is to be consumed on the KYC premises, and all alocholic beverages served from the KYC bar must be consumed either in the Clubhouse or on the decking area.
While RSVP is not required, it is encouraged to allow us to plan for numbers. If you are bringing guests, please be sure to RSVP on behalf of them as well. All payments for your meal will be collected at the KYC bar on the night of the event.
Looking to get your last few volunteer hours clocked up?? Well why not give us a hand either running the bar or the BBQs?? All barstaff must have their Serving it Right certification. We ask that volunteers arrive at the Club for 6pm, with things wrapping up around 8:30pm or 9pm.
