June 15 is our second Welcome New Members night – we will have official KYC Welcomers waiting for new members but please keep an eye out for new faces.  Jules Verne wrote Around the World in 80 Days and the June 15th dinner is going to take us around the world in three courses!  An international feast awaits the returning sailors and paddlers and delicious aromas will tantalize everyone in the clubhouse and on the deck.  Chef Ed and the Nelly’s crew are taking us first to Japan, then we have a choice of  heading to Korea  for beef bulgogi, a traditional Korean dish of marinated beef or we can venture into Creole and Cajun country for Shrimp Étouffée,( Étouffée means smothered) or over to Europe for veggie pie.  We all end up together for dessert in either England or France, depending on who you believe served the first lemon tart.  I hope Google and I have this right, here goes, “itadakimasu” or “jal meokkesseumnida” and “Bon appetit”! 

 
The cost is $17.50 per person, cash payable to the caterer.
